Flea Market Finds

Just a very simple find this week. A spaghetti jar!   I was inspired by this one ♥   The lollies were for Jack's party guests and he bought them from A Mixed Bag at Robinvale last Sunday.  Have a wonderful day, visit  Sophie  if you would like to see some more fab finds.

Toby Ted ♥

This is not a good pic, I'm trying to transfer my phone photos onto the computer.  Our Toby recently won an award at school for public speaking.  He had to take something special from home and present it to the class.   He chose pins from his Dad's head and pins from his broken elbow!!!  Apparently he gave a very confident and informative presentation! I wish that I was in the classroom to watch ♥♥♥
I will draw a winner for my giveaway tomorrow night, so there is still time to enter.

An "upcycled" giveaway!

Hello,  It seems like  a long time since I have held a giveaway here on my blog.  This morning I have been making some hair clips with some of my vintage buttons.  This is not a good pic as it is quite cold and dark here today.   Please leave a comment below if you would like to win a set of these bobby pins and we will select a random winner next Wednesday.
Thanks so much for supporting my blog  ♥ Leah

Why Crochet and Knit?

Why Crochet and Knit?
It feels good to work with beautiful yarn colors and textures!

Knitting and Crocheting is “portable” – take it anywhere!

Provides a sense of accomplishment when you complete a project.

If you have arthritis, knitting or crocheting help to keep the fingers limber.

Knitting and crocheting helps stave off Alzheimer’s

Adds balance to a high-tech, fast-paced, stressful lifestyle.

Many agree that the repetitive movements of knitting and crochet activate the same areas in the brain as meditation and yoga
such rhythmic repetitive acts help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system.  PRLOG

I spent many hours crocheting when my husband was in hospital. I have almost finished my blanket inspired by this one created by the wonderful Dottie Angel ♥
It's perfect weather for crochet today, don't you think?   Leah
