This is not a good pic, I'm trying to transfer my phone photos onto the computer. Our Toby recently won an award at school for public speaking. He had to take something special from home and present it to the class. He chose pins from his Dad's head and pins from his broken elbow!!! Apparently he gave a very confident and informative presentation! I wish that I was in the classroom to watch ♥♥♥

I recently made myself one of these, the tutorial can be found at Craftsnob. It didn't take long at all, ( in front of the heater and TV after all the kids were asleep in bed ♥♥♥) I used very thick wool and have been wearing it to work. I think that this is my favourite Flea Market Find so far. I bought this old dresser last week from the Salvos in Mildura. Some of the handles were missing so I replaced them with some gorgeous new ones from Rose Harvest It's not a great photo but Grace's bedroom looks very "girly" now, I love it!
This weekend we were booked to be at to take part in Sugar and Spice Woodend and The Daylesford Craft Experience but due to our recent family mishaps we had to cancel. A big thanks to Anna who took some of my goodies along to the Red Cliffs Country Market for me this morning.

Another photo of our Gracie Girl. Yesterday at daycare she told the new afternoon carer that her name was Mary Ann. several frantic phone calls were made to us and her "emergency contacts" because Grace could not be found.

I'm supposed to be in Melbourne with my husband right now, we had a big mix up at the airport ( 0600 this morning) and I had to send him off to the Alfred alone. The upside is that I now have a couple of "childfree" hours!

Away for another week

We are traveling back to Ballarat in the morning, Danny is staying there with his family to be close to the trauma centre and tomorrow is Grace's 3rd birthday . A big party with lots of cousins is planned! I will be putting my online stores in vacation mode but really hope to return again by easter and take part in the Riverfront-Boutique-Markets-Mildura I'm packing loads of sewing into the car so I hope to have a well stocked stall! Positive Progress

I know that this sounds very dramatic, believe me it has been!!!
My husband had an accident and has literally broken his neck!! He was air lifted to the wonderful Alfred Trauma Center in one of these Hellicopters.
He will make a full recovery but it will mean lots of traveling and adjusting for our family.
I am trying to catch up with my Vintage Chenille orders over the next few days. My little business is a wonderful diversion from lots of things, so I will try everything I can to keep it running as smoothly as possible! ♥Leah

Hello, we had a lovely time at Mathilda's Market in Hawthorn on Sunday. Meeting some lovely new and returning customers. I did just a little bit of shopping for my Gracie girl ♥

Hello, I've been off work for a week or so with Ross River Fever, so feeling sorry for myself! Yesterday I decided that I would sew for my boys, I used this fun tutorial and made 3 of these library bags.
They are all a bit different, it took me most of the day!
The boys love their new school but my little prep boy decided to wait until day 3 to cry uncontrollably and not let me out of the room!! All is good today because Wednesday is a day off for Preps ♥

Hello, I'd love to make some of these for christmas. I have all of the supplies, but I think that might be struggling for time. The Bendigo Handmade Market was fantastic, I couldn't believe how busy it was! I have some pics on my camera, I will share tomorrow.
Not many sleeps left now, Grace keeps opening presents from under our tree, usually they belong to her brothers which creates lots of noise!!

I have had a crappy week! These pics still make me smile.
Toby graduated from day care yesterday, he played the part of a little cupcake in the concert and of course, a blurry pic from MY camera of Bon jovi in concert ♥♥♥

Hello, our baby boy turned 5 yesterday and had a wonderful day ♥♥
We all had a fabulous time in Ballarat too!
Friday night we had a stall at the Caledonian Primary School Arts/Crafts & Produce Market.
Saturady we had a stall at the Dayelsford Makers Market where I did lots of shopping!
Sunday we had a stall at the Sugar and Spice Children's Market which was wonderful, I would love to take part again next year, (just need to get a 2011 calender happening!)
As usual we met some more lovely tallented crafters, which is always so inspiring. I hope to catch up with some blogs this week. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and my little business. Bye for now ♥ Leah

Hello, we have had a VERY busy week, our girls weekend away was so much fun and so was the Sisters' Fair. We are enjoying a day at home today, YAY! Hopefully I will find some time to sew with some of my vintage sheets, do you like this cushion? My garden needs attention too, lots of gorgeous blooms but also lots of weeds! Enjoy your weekend!
