Everybody gets sooo excited about birthdays at our place. Toby's will be the next one, he has been counting down the days for weeks and still has another 4 weeks to go!
I'm wondering if I should show him this pic, he LOVES diggers!
Have a happy day
here are my most recent finds, from an op shop in Robinvale last Saturday.
My jack loves nut/date loaf, I must hurry up and bake some!
Many more fabulous finds can be viewed here

Here is my find for the week, 50cents at the Salvos. This little pin cushion appears to be handmade, I love it! Drop into Sophie's Blog for lots more Flea Market finds. Have a wonderful week, our school holidays have started again. Leah
Just a very simple find this week. A spaghetti jar! I was inspired by this one ♥ The lollies were for Jack's party guests and he bought them from A Mixed Bag at Robinvale last Sunday. Have a wonderful day, visit Sophie if you would like to see some more fab finds.
This is not a good pic, I'm trying to transfer my phone photos onto the computer. Our Toby recently won an award at school for public speaking. He had to take something special from home and present it to the class. He chose pins from his Dad's head and pins from his broken elbow!!! Apparently he gave a very confident and informative presentation! I wish that I was in the classroom to watch ♥♥♥
I will draw a winner for my giveaway tomorrow night, so there is still time to enter.
Hello, It seems like a long time since I have held a giveaway here on my blog. This morning I have been making some hair clips with some of my vintage buttons. This is not a good pic as it is quite cold and dark here today. Please leave a comment below if you would like to win a set of these bobby pins and we will select a random winner next Wednesday.
Thanks so much for supporting my blog ♥ Leah
Adds balance to a high-tech, fast-paced, stressful lifestyle.
Many agree that the repetitive movements of knitting and crochet activate the same areas in the brain as meditation and yoga
such rhythmic repetitive acts help prevent and manage stress, pain and depression, which in turn strengthens the body’s immune system. PRLOG
I spent many hours crocheting when my husband was in hospital. I have almost finished my blanket inspired by this one created by the wonderful Dottie Angel ♥
It's perfect weather for crochet today, don't you think? Leah
Unfortunately I won't be there but some of my toys and quilts will! The lovely Anna from Tillytom will have some of my goodies on her stall! If you are in Ballarat this Sunday please pop in and say hello!
Have a wonderful weekend ♥ Leah
Hello, this pic would look much sweeter if I had added some handmade goodies like these♥ The little plate or dish is my find for the week, the doily is a previous thrifty find too. I hope that your weekend was wonderful, pop into Sophie's blog for more flea Market Fun. Leah
I don't have anything "crafty" to share today, I have been busy with my "real" job and helping my husband with the planning of the Koorlong Campoven Cookoff
You can win yourself a free ticket if you visit the website. We will all be there on Sunday, fingers crossed that it will be a Sunny Sunday!
Enjoy your weekend ♥Leah
Doilies again! the top one is very pretty, and some hankies, these are from an Op Shop in Robinvale. I can't believe the variation in prices between op shops, these doilies were 10 for $1.00!! Drop into Sophie's Blog to see more fabulous finds. Leah
I recently made myself one of these, the tutorial can be found at Craftsnob. It didn't take long at all, ( in front of the heater and TV after all the kids were asleep in bed ♥♥♥) I used very thick wool and have been wearing it to work. Keep warm this weekend, we have been having some very "wintery" weather!
I'm lucky enough to have a snazzy new white iPhone 4. Every day I email pictures of my husbands wounds to the trauma centre with it, yay! It does have many other fun features, which the whole family try to use, Grace can even use the ipod!! I came across these on the internet recently, I ♥ Cath Kidston they are just a bit expensive for me in AU!
Hello here are my finds for the week, some crochet doilies and an old sheet. I hope that you have enjoyed your weekend, it has been cold and wet here today, perfect weather for sewing with my finds. ♥ Leah
Hello, I'm a little bit late posting my find for the week, we had a very busy weekend. I did manage one garage sale and found this old cupboard for my sewing room for $20.00. It does need a polish, I have some lovely handmade lavender furniture polish which I should use more often!
Pop over to Sophie's Blog for more fun finds. ♥Leah
