A few Friday Favourites!

Hello, I couldn't work out how to post this pic, so you will have to click the link! http://www.etsy.com/treasury_list_west.php?room_id=35657 It took me a couple of hours to make this last night! If you are an Etsy person you will know all about treasuries, this is the first I've ever been successful with. I need to sew, sew, sew! I have been selling lots, which is great, my proceeds are covering a lot of Christmas expenses, so I do feel lucky! Last night a lady came to our home and purchased many things for a new baby named Ivy, Danny decided he loved the name and now wants an Ivy, Ha, Ha! 4 kids are plenty for us!! have a wonderful weekend! not sure!

Have you ever seen a chenille bedspread like this?? I bought it at an op shop, not looking closely, when I got it home and unwrapped it I was so surprised at the picture in the middle. I'm not sure that I should cut it up to sew with now. Do you think that it could be rare or even valuable?? We will draw our winner for the latest giveaway tonight, the boys were asleep before I had a chance last night. Hope that you are having a lovely day! Leah

I've donated!

$10.00 right here I know that's not much ,but it might help a little! I sold $100.00 worth of pink chenille items during the month of October, not too bad for a busy mum! My sister and I donated $20.00 each at the lovely "pink" night that we attended on the weekend too. Jack says he loved the pink "laminations" that I bought home! Toby will be 3 soon and he is looking for his birthday everywhere, under the cushions on the couch, under the computer desk, funny, I don't quite understand why he thinks he might find it! Sorry I haven't got a pic today but you can see my latest scrap booking here. Thanks for dropping in! Leah

I'm addicted to Op Shopping!

I made this bib today and was taking it to give to my niece to wear for some advertising, but I looked at Grace in her cute little red and white top ( $1.00 from the op shop last week) and decided that since we were going to the hairdressers and out for lunch that we should advertise ourselves, sorry Miss A! We visited an Op shop today and got a bag full of pillow cases a table cloth and some very cute doilies all for $4.oo. I have so many ideas, and hardly ever went near an op shop in the past, now I can't keep away, I need another storage room! Thanks for stopping by! Leah

Jack sells some of his eggs and parsley from our garden, he makes at least $20.00 each time, pretty good for a 5 year old! His little chickens are growing really quickly too. Thanks for dropping in! A gorgeous weekend

Well, we travelled 600km to the Royal Childrens Hopspital for an appointment that took no more than 5mins!! But that's good because it means that our little Grace is perfectly healthy and her lip has healed very well. here is a pic of my youngest 2 babies at a lavender farm that we visited yesterday, it was closed so we just had a walk in the gorgeous gardens and I had to take some photos, as I now have even more scrapping supplies. Most of them are from Nicole We met Nicole at Paperific, she was very busy and had a wonderful booth! I bought some of Petrina's designs, can't wait to use them! On Sunday we visited some little craft and vintage stores that even my husband enjoyed!! Two of the store owners took my etsy business card and said they would have a look at buying some of my chenille items, I sold 4 "pink" items from my store while I was away too! Hope that you had a great weekend! Leah

Make sure that you check the lollishops blog this weekend. Busy with school kinder, meetings and messages today, we have had a very lucky op shop week! I have only recently discovered how fun op shopping can be, 2 chenille bedspreads, one new little sleeping bag for Toby and 2 pairs of designer very cute jeans for Annah.
